Buddy Weaver Music is the copyright owner of Blue Star Records. Some episodes of this podcast will be presenting the Blue Star Records album collection. Here is BS 1005 "Andy Andrus Calls 'Em Sensational"
Incorrectly identified in the podcast (should be Blue Star 1005), this long play album was released in May 1963 for dancer's home practice. Some of the calls used are no longer in square dancing today so listeners have to do some research before dancing.

Here is Modern Western Square Dancing with a slight vintage feel. The calls used are part of the Plus (intermediate) Program while the music is some of the best from 1984.
Our featured caller is Mike Sikorsky, one of the more popular callers in MWSD. This was a live dance that was released as a long-play album on Hi Hat Records. Excellent for practice at home or whenever you need a caller.
